PS--It's in Barrington, MA, isn't it?
Yes, Great Barrington, MA.
That's the event, and as Nobby mentioned, it's usually the 1st Thursday in August.
I'll just settle for GTG's that are closer to home.
This is truly a wonderful opportunity to GTG with fellow forum members to pay tribute to Pete, share a common interest, enjoy the camaraderie, check out some other cars at the show, and enjoy the beauty of a charming New England town as well as the surrounding countryside.
It's an event I look forward to every year. Nobby and mrelbe come down from the Toronto area, Chief Rider from CT, others, including myself, come from upstate NY, and we've had still others from NYC, NJ, MI and other places which I may have left out. If I did, please forgive!
In 2017, the car show was cancelled at the last minute, but Nobby, mrelbe, Chief Rider and I still got together to share each other's company, reminiscence and enjoy some Italian food. Always good fun.
Maybe the GTG that RLT61 is proposing will become an event just like Great Barrington, and keep the first Thursday (usually!) in August on your calendar open for our 2019 GTG in GB.
