I wouldn't use any locktite. I just put mine in with 2 grunts of my small ratchet and call it a day. Still hasn't come out on me yet.

Good advice, but for full disclosure, the MB manual says to use microencapsulated threads, that I assume means thread lock compound when reinstalling the steering wheel. Two grunts on that screw is 80 newton meters, pretty damn tight. BTW, even if that screw falls out you still have steering if you keep forward pressure on the wheel. Just don't pull it off the splines.
