The PIG is on the verge of......

.....being sold.

I have a Benz enthusiast that is trying to give me a down payment on a $7500 sale price.

That's what I paid 9 years ago.

This last 2 years has been the hardest ownership years for me. I just can't get the idle right and it's driving me nutz.

AND it has been costing me money which has left me neglecting my long term maintenance program.

This year was supposed to be propshaft.

I truly am at the end of my rope with this...both financially and emotionally.

I've blown $1200 this year and I'm no closer to resolving my SL idle issues. Yes...new parts that are par for the course....Yeh for The PIG.

But I'm still battling.

Wacka do.

Who has a part number for an fuel accumulator? Dealer wants $495. FUCK that.

Same as our 280s of that year. Google Bosch 0438170017.
I can maybe get it shipped to me and forward to CA for around $120.00.

OK...how to do this? I LOVE that price.

I'll be at Andrews until, realistically, the 18th.

I live by that motto.

Nobette is angry with me. The Nobsters are disappointed.

I almost kicked The Fucking PIG today I was so frustrated.

It's pocessed. Idle nice....next stop...fast. Next stop stall.

Cold start at 2500rpms. 10 minutes later...stall.

Next day cold start 1700 rpms....ramp down to 1000 then...stall.

I really have no idea what to do next.

Selling the car at that price is attractive right now.

You know whats wrong with the pig. Another car if you purcase one will be a pig in a poke and u could be going thru the same process. Stick with what u got and you will be money ahead in the long run

I know, I know.

But when I got into this I was middle middle class.

I have dropped to middle class in the ensuing 9 years.

It can be an expensive hobby....right now it is hurting.

Anyways....I'm going to do my best to get it running correctly which will probably change my mind.

But geez....I have a $7500 cheque waiting for my old car.....
