Thanks... I had been under the misunderstanding it was moved from the front to the rear in 73-74...

Hate to disagree but the original location is front fender.
Only thng I can think of is if it had an auto antenna. Then maybe it was located in the rear. Can't see why MB would do that but...............

now I do recall auto antennae on the front as well. I think it was the new girl (cite epic welcome post) who had raised this question... Seems she had an astronomical quote to have it replaced, due to removing the kick panel, etal...
