1986 MB 560sl inner fender top part

Hi,

Merry Christmas!!!

I have an 1986 Mercedes 560sl in Europe.Do you know where can I get the top part of the body (front inner fender) where the front shock is positioned (passangers side). It is apart where the small round hole where the top of the front shock tigthens to the body of the car. My part is rusted I beleive due to the leak from cooling water housing or windshield water housing. It could not have been seen due to the large amount of original MB rust protection. But my mechanic started cleaning this area and founded that this part is rusted almost 70%. He also said that the car could be driven for couple of years thinking that this important body structure is OK an has no rust. All other area around is clean 100%.

You can see on the picture I have attached ..the part number is #20 on picture one and #47 on picture two..

Mercedes dealer in Europe sells this small part only with all inner wing..which is very expensive (around 1.700 EUR)and not needed at all in my case. MB dealer recently stoped salling this small part...it has it now with all inner fender included :)Smart move.

Do you know where can I get this part and what are the experince if any :)

Thank you all for any input on the matter!
