On a day we're discussing America's shortcomings...

That this is even an issue, says a lot more about us than those that ran into danger and death to save others.

And we keep re-electing these same clowns back to the Congress. Yes, it does say something about us, and something less than positive; we need to do better.

The basis of this country is a very good one. To keep it requires constant vigilance; it doesn't come free.

It says we Americans only recognize a figure head of gov't and not the working pieces.

Just watched the video from 4 years ago when he first went to Congress with the now-deceased Capt. Ray Pfeifer (2017), whose jacket Jon Stewart was given there. What a bunch of effin' cockroaches to do that to them. I get that these legislators have schedules, but I've seen this in state govenment, too, where the well-heeled lobbyists (e. g. those from Microsoft) get instant access and others, "go away and make an appointment".

For our current batch of politicians, 9/11 served its purpose.

"Pseudo patriots" get to drape themselves in "red, white and blue" jingoism once a year....and Rudy got a job working for President Nero.
