|mulewright||I don't know when my timing chain was last done but the car has 135k on it so if 100k is the time for a change then I am going to do it. However there isn't any measurable stretch on it.|

|foolio2||If the rails are root beer, it's most likely time. They darken with age and they don't get much darker than that. Most people consider the change interval 100k miles. Do you know if/when the chain/rails/tensioner were last done?|

Found double row timing chain
Well I just ordered all the parts to do replacement of the vacuum and timing chain. I was basically going to refresh the entire top of this engine.
Long story short, I opened the valve covers and viola! There is a double row timing chain.
Well now my question is, with 135K miles on the engine should I still change the chain? The rails are looking a bit root beer color but look to be in good shape, should I change these? How many miles do the double row chains need service?
