That concludes our history lesson for today.

OK, so please provide the number of mass murders in 1841, 1887 and 1965 and compare them to 2018. Times have changed and there are more deranged terrorists out there.

Rational for increased mass killings is the lowering of the psychological threshold for sick people. the "first" (recent) mass killer had to overcome strong societal norms to kill, the next could say well he did it, soI guess I can. and on down the line to where it became a notoriety thing. At least the press has stopped publishing their names. - just one small step, but a good one. now it's just sick and deranged copycats. And yes the constant barrage of glorifying killing movies and games does desensitize. And no Im not saying one movie will turn you into a killer, but it is all part of a bigger picture.
My own theory includes the more governments force people to act a certain way that they dont want to, increases personal stress that sick people cant cope with and then they act violently.
There are many many other factors that have led to the increase in mass killings. obviously not a one answer question.

How's that working out?
Actually, pretty well here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Lots of people here carry guns, legally.

Cough, cough, cough... that's told me
Personally, I agree, Trump should've just stayed quiet on this one. There was nothing productive about what he said here.

since your slow today let me explain.
States Without The Death Penalty (21)
plus Death Penalty States With Gubernatorial Moratoria (4)

equals 25.

That concludes our first grade math lesson for the day.

IMO mass murderers should be executed within 6 months of their conviction.

Sounds to me you want to kill for revenge.
