OK, so please provide the number of mass murders in 1841, 1887 and 1965 and compare them to 2018. Times have changed and there are more deranged terrorists out there.
Rational for increased mass killings is the lowering of the psychological threshold for sick people. the "first" (recent) mass killer had to overcome strong societal norms to kill, the next could say well he did it, soI guess I can. and on down the line to where it became a notoriety thing. At least the press has stopped publishing their names. - just one small step, but a good one. now it's just sick and deranged copycats. And yes the constant barrage of glorifying killing movies and games does desensitize. And no Im not saying one movie will turn you into a killer, but it is all part of a bigger picture.
My own theory includes the more governments force people to act a certain way that they dont want to, increases personal stress that sick people cant cope with and then they act violently.
There are many many other factors that have led to the increase in mass killings. obviously not a one answer question.

Did you know Michigan got rid of the death penalty in 1841? Maine in 1887, or WV in 1965? And that's your rationale for the amount of current serial killings?
That concludes our history lesson for today.
TIL the type of crime affects due process and your constitutional rights.

States Without The Death Penalty (21)
plus Death Penalty States With Gubernatorial Moratoria (4)
That concludes our first grade math lesson for the day.
and just how many mass murderers are you aware of that were framed by the police? I didnt say execute everyone in 6 months, I said mass murderers.

I have no idea what you're talking about...
Sometimes juries make mistakes, police frame innocent people, that's why due process and the right to appeal is a thing... look it up.
Sounds to me you want to kill for revenge.

|rumb||25 states have removed the death penalty and the list is growing. IMO mass murderers should be executed within 6 months of their conviction.|

How many DPs you give a guy that mows down a crowd of people at a concert, show, or school? And since when did we get rid of of the death penalty?

How about death penalty for murderers?
