cowboyt Yep, that's how LED's are done. Incandescent bulbs don't have polarity, but LED's do. If it doesn't flip on one way, then try the other.

I had the same issue, I couldnít tell from the wire and I didnít have a voltage meter. So I flipped it, in till the bulb turned on. [emoji2955]

Low Beam Lamp Socket Polarity Question

2008 E350: I am upgrading to Hikari LED bulb and they need to insert their plug with the correct polarity. So the OEM plug for this H7 type socket has one with two wires and one with only one. Which is positive and which is negative?
