ivak86 Well that's my top priority because for the last 6 years I've drove cars With over 220hp ,and here in my country the roads are really bad and i need truck to be with high ground clearance more room and little off-road capabilities and of course to have some power in it, not an suv with 140hp and when it is with 120kph to struggle to over take.

Can you explain this more? Why is this the most important thing to you abut the ML500? What is your driving environment which makes this so high on your list? I'm just curious because there are faster vehicles than the ML500 which can overtake quicker.

mattml430 If you want to overtake really fast look for an ML55.

ivak86 I read the article, that's my car 🙂
Is that true, that with the star programme i can find the original milage of the car in the gearbox section? Because here in my country the auto houses lies about this

What I have found on our ML is that working on them is not hard just time consuming spark plugs 4hours for all 16.

Engine mount 3-4 hours one side 5-6 the other.

Rear struts 4 hours each side the top bolts are hard to get to.

As to speed 0-60 mph 6.7 seconds.

Know you said you English is not to good but If you can get through this or find a copy in your language.

khomer2 Welcome ivak86,

If your handy with DIY, proper tools, decent scanner, you will enjoy this suv. And it will meet your listed requirements.
Just do your due diligence inspection.

04ML500 Mine usually runs at around 80 C, sometimes a bit higher than that but never above 100 C.

ivak86 Well most of the easy things i can do by myself. Changing oil and filters, coils and spark plugs. I need to know only this, is it strong engine and to over take easy. Because i was in dilemma with the x5 4.4i but i read about that their engine works on 108 degrees by Celsius and from this high temperature there are a lot of issues, so i was wondering about the ml is there any problems like this. And of course i could not find a diesel truck from the same price range with performance engine like in the ml500,and i don't like diesel because they are very expensive to maintain.

wallyo Reliable yes

But depends on many factors a ml with high Km well cared for may be better then one with low Km and not cared for.
So a lot is up to the prior owner.

As to power yes that it has. Ability to over take that it does. Do We like our 03 ML500 had it for 2 months, and no regrets.

But if you have something go wrong can you do the repairs yourself that will save a lot of money if you have a budget.

Look here for common ml issues
