|Its Her Car||From payment date to receipt of bumpers was exactly 1 week. I unwrapped everything today, it's very well packaged with cloth covering chrome parts and everything well wrapped in bubble wrap. My box had one torn corner and shat out a coupe of bolts on my front porch but it looks like the biggest part of them arrived. I won't know until I get the puzzle assembled. The primer on the visible body parts will be stripped with scotch-brite, it looks like header paint and is probalby on there to prevent corrosion until paint is applied. I already ordered primer and a rattle can of Signal Red. I have no point of reference since I haven't had the bumpers off of her 280SL but these look fine, as expected. I'm really glad I have hers for reference since this looks like a Vietnamese German puzzle!|

|Its Her Car||I decided to pull the trigger, ordered a set over the weekend. I got an email on Monday acknowledging my payment and letting me know that mine have already shipped - they had 3 completed sets on hand. She has sent the tracking number which shows them to be in transit. I paid $1130 shipped to Texas. The sales gal that i worked with is named Ali Taylor ( [email protected] ). Email her direct and let her know I gave you the info, she should offer the same price.|

|Its Her Car||
I just bought an '89 560SL, please post here or PM me if you're interested, maybe we can get a bit off if we order a few sets. I'll be ordering within a month. I have been in touch with Miss Ali Taylor in Vietnam, a set to me in Texas with PayPal fees included is $1162. I sent an email asking about unpainted valances and saving a few bucks on that, I'll see what she says.
When I see the Euro bumpers on my sweetheart's 280SL, looking at the park benches perched on the front and rear of my 560SL makes me want to throw up!

I also bought a set from him, the fit is good, not perfect, but not noticable.
Like the other member mentioned, but not only the valance, also the supports - and he will give you a small discount.
You can then spray paint yourself with any good rust proofing primer + black.

Paint your new valance panels in the rear of the car.
Drill out one side of the mounting hole on the driver's side rear of your car.
Plug some holes left by current rubber bumper inserts as you won't need them any longer.
Do more "finagling" than I can recall right now!
