I will make sure to let them know that I am bringing it back in a few weeks for the rattles again!

|Georj||I was getting lot of creaking noise from the dashboard. I took the car to dealer under warranty and they removed the dash and padded it with felt. The noise is gone. This is a common problem with these cars. Last week the rear center console where the rear AC vents are started to creak. So this morning I took the car to the dealer and they agreed to look at it. My warrany end in two days. I will update the forum after I get the car back.|

According to what I have read, the C450 is not just an AMG package that adds exterior and interior looks. It shares a lot of suspension and steering components of the C63 amg, making it a very hard ride. The one big difference other than the engine of course is that AMG didn't go through the vehicle to fine tune it like all the true AMG vehicles.

Can you check to see if itís been in an accident or had a major interior repair done where it may of not been reassembled properly. Can you pin point the rattles or are they to hard to pick?
Our C250 with AMG pack is as quiet as a mouse inside. Although itís a lot different to yours.

2016 C450 amg rattles and creaks
November of 2018 I bought myself a 2016 C450 AMG. I was at the dealership looking at a 435i M Sport package and as soon as I saw the C450 I fell in love. So in love, that my girlfriend thinks I love my car more than her.
After driving the vehicle for a few months, I noticed a few minor things with it. The door handle lights didn't light up, the CD player didn't accept CDs and there were a lot of rattles and creaks. The vehicle is still under factory warranty and so I took it in for an inspection and to correct these things. They replaced the door handle lights and replaced the CD player. But then were the rattles and creaks. They claimed at the dealership that the sunroof tracks were rattling and so they replaced them. They told me that 80% of the noises were gone and that they would keep the vehicle another 2 days to work out the rest. After two weeks of having my vehicle they told me it was ready and rattle free. I pick up the car and not a mile down the road there were still rattles and creaks. The one horrible rattle was gone though, which was probably the sun roof tracks. Anyways, I went back a week later and drove the car with the service adviser. Showed him the rattles and creaks I was hearing and he said that he heard them and to come back when their mercedes specialist that goes to 3 dealerships to fix their big problems was around. That was today. After a test drive with him he said "There is nothing I hear that is abnormal and that everything you hear is normal". He claims that my low profile tires and AMG suspension cause these rattles. As soon as I asked him why the base c300 loaner I drove didn't have any rattles he said that that is a completely different vehicle. I then asked him if the C63 rattles like an old honda. He said that I am comparing apples and oranges. The service adviser told me to drive the car for a little bit and see if the weather makes a difference and to take it from there.
Has anyone experienced problems with rattles in the C450 AMGs or the C63? I thought mercedes would have a better build quality than what I have.
Please share any experiences you guys have had. I cannot find another c450 to drive to see if it is actually a common problem.
