Maybe a unicorn? Euro w126 newly arrive in salvage yard

I kind of wish I knew someone as generous as Dr Grillz was heading out there. With the gold color, Iíd consider slapping that rear bumper on my gold SEL to be able to turn it back to stock.

Iíve got euro rear bumpers, but donít have a ton, and also havenít gotten to the point where Iím ready to paint any thing on this car yet. The rear bumper, being a single piece of plastic AMG rear US bumper, canít really be removed without embarking on a paint project.

So if anyone heads back to the Unicorn, please let me know.

I also have three of those plastic 15Ē hubcaps, one in good shape, two have peeled. I would use stainless old style Pullman / grosser caps on my 15Ē steelies. The plastic ones wonít be used by me.

Thank you, but I have also received help from forum members here over the years. If you are interested in a set of 4 hub caps, send me a message with your contact info.

TexFinn Nice work Dr.Grillz! It’s great when a trip to salvage results in nice finds.

Stutz Shhh. I was going to send him co ordinates for other yards he could prowl. Seriously I second that comment. That was way above normal help and your efforts doing that and with comments are greatly appreciated. This forum is simpky great due to people like him.

bflobob8 Very impressed Dr.Grilz in the effort you put in to help a fellow member especially considering you weren't even sure what you would find after a 2 hour drive.

Stutz Malcolm, I see the heat shield in the euro log you were looking for. If someone goes back, the should snag the euro logs and the heat shield

Fonzi The picture is a little blurry, but that looks like a limited slip differential tag. Is that correct?

The options donít show a limited slip. They also show a low compression motor. Like US Spec 5.0? I see the 15-hole alloy wheel option. Thatís a 14Ē bundt which would match the door jamb sticker. So this car is a bit of a conundrum. Moved to snowy town and decided they needed LSD and and steel wheels and were able to find those rare options???? [emoji848]
