Check your service manual.

I would love to. How do I get a service manual??? All I have is an owners manual and it does not list any brands. All it provides is a specification or 229.5. Please let me know how to get a service manual

I'm going to assume it has a recommend weight for your ambient temperature range and driving habits.. That spec is met by a bunch of oils:

If anyone has changed the oill in a GT can you please confirm the following?

1. THe Engine oil drain plug has a allen wrench hole and is located behind the tires in the front of the car about center between the two wheels. THere is a circular cut out in the panel covering the bottomm of the engine to allow acces to this plug without having to remove any of the panels.

2. The oil reservoir plug is located about 3 inches behind the passenger tire. It also is allen holed.

Are these correct?
