Question Please help.

I drive an 06 CLS500 and have located some wheels.
They are Mandrus 20x8.5 et25 and 20x10 et 32 front and rear respectively.
I am under the impression that these should fit nicely with 245/35r/20 and 295/30r/20 front and rear. However the back is rubbing on the inside fender well. Do I need a 10mm spacer in the back or something? Please advise.
John

Theres another set of wheels locally that they guy had on his cls550 and they were 20x8.5 et32 and 20x10 et42 front and rear. I saw pictures and it looked ok, but those numbers seem way off.

Thank you for the post John.

According to my fitment information your wheel dimensions are spot on. The 295 rear tires though are on the aggressive side. A spacer may fix the rubbing but we do not recommend them. I would have your local Discount Tire test fit a 285 to see if that fixes the rubbing.

Thats what I thought too.
So what about the others? Will they work?

The other two wheel dimensions you noted will move the tires even closer to the inside fender liner. With narrower tires they would likely work but they will tuck inside the fender a good amount.
