W211 stuck in Limp Mode

I have an 05 E320 cdi that has went into limp mode. I've replaced the conductor plate, 13 pin connector adapter, solenoids, filter, fluid and aux. battery with no change. The Code is P0715. Also the "c/s" switch is stuck on "S". Any ideas what else could cause this?

Did you clear the code with MB oriented scanner after the parts replacement?

I did clear the code with an OBD II scanner. I'm not sure if it was MB oriented. Would this make difference?

You need to clear faults from engine, transmission, shifter and possibly traction system with dedicated MB scanner.

Thank you for your response! I am new to this since this is the first issue I've ever had with the car. Will an iCarsoft MBII reader suffice? If not, what would you recommend?

Never used iCarsoft so I don't know.

Foxwell NT520 Pro with MB software will work for sure.

You will get more exposure if you post in W211 forum.

Thank you very much!

If there is no change following a "correct" code clear with a MB scanner, I will definitely re-post in that forum. Very grateful for the help!!

Good Evening Friends!

I have good news. After your suggestions I purchased an iCarsoft MBll scanner specific for Mercedes. I received it today, registered the scanner online and downloaded the updated software. I hooked it up to my car, ran the diagnostics and cleared the codes. Took it for a test drive and hallelujah it shifted like it was new. I am very grateful for your help, otherwise, I'd would have probably taken it to the dealership and paid much more than what the scanner cost. This is a great forum.

Hopefully, this specific post will benefit others.

Thanks again friends!!
