2012 c350 om642 Engine management light

Hi I have done the oil cooler seals today on this c350 om642 and on competition I test drove and seem to have the management light on I’ve scanned it and it’s logged error 15f500 the signal voltage of component b17/8 (charge air temperature sensor) is to high.

Can anyone guide me to where this sensor is and what it looks like?

Cheers

How difficult was it to replace the oil cooler gaskets? I see the gaskets are only $4.00

Charging air temp is measured by MAF to my knowledge, so you might be a due for new one.
About the oil cooler gaskets - it is funny that they cost $4, takes less than 1 hr to replace them on the cooler, but 12 hr just to get to darn cooler.

It's located at the throttle body on the underside, just above the alternator. It would be passenger side front fairly low down on the intake manifold, it just has to hook type tangs that hold it in, 2 wire, be very careful unplugging as the wires are small. They are common for oil saturation, when pulled out it looks like 2 wires joined at a plastic looking tip

check the intercooler fins for blockage as well, that would cause intake temps to increase if the intercooler cant do its job.
