Sender unit may be malfunctioning, replacement parts for your MY07 cls550: left front, right front, and/or rear right acceleration sensor part #0105427717 (for comparison shopping, parts.com $105.80 each). Dealer, independent, or anyone with SDS access can pull up fault code to pinpoint which location is malfunctioning.

Take it to a shop that's located around your town that only works on German cars and save those thousands man! Trust me! Yellowpages.com or check in this forum for information of someone that's in your area as well.

I finally got the car to a shop that works on German cars, they did the diagnosis and the pump had to be changed, so he changed the pump and the relay.
We still have a problem

So I visited the shop. He tries to jump the relay from the fuse box and I can hear the pump being engaged, but the air is not transferred to the lines.

The car is on lift, with a new pump and relay, and my car is out for a day. After leaving the shop, I am thinking the car needs to turned on fully for the air to be pumped through the entire system, any ideas?

I took my car to get repaired it costed me $700.00 US and that included parts and labor. The pump was $370.00 and the relay was $68.00. and there was a fuse as well that was under the dash somewhere not too sure about that , but that was replaced as well. So £400+ sounds about right.

These cars can be a pain in the Ass whenit comes to repairs

the cls and e have issues with the pressure relief valve located on the pump. the harness connector wires break right at the connector causing a malfunction. this is the most common airmatic issue on the cls and e. if u take off the lf wheel and fender liner. there are 2 connectors on the airmatic pump. the connector to the release valve is with the 2 thinner wires. wiggle them and see if u have a broken wire.
