Looking for a little help from you guys with far more experience than I have, & hoping this is the right place to do it! I pounded a pothole with my left front wheel a few weeks back. Ruin the tire and put a little dent in the wheel, but not really an issue. Problem is the air suspension in the front is now going way over height (looks like a 4wd pickup). I assumed I knocked loose the sensor that tells the car's computer what height my car is riding at, and in speaking with a European car specialist locally, that is also his first guess. The air suspension doesn't leak, doesn't go flat, and doesn't bottom out... just rides way up in the air and the screen on the dash also reads there is a suspension fault. Just checking to see what I should look for under the car before I even throw it up on a lift. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated! Thanks!
(Pic just for attention. This is my CLS and the 2003 SL500 I just bought.)
