New Member ‘14 CLS 550.. anyone with OE Tune?

Hello everyone! I am on my second Benz, first was ‘12 e350.. I just got the CLS a month ago and I have learned a lot from these forums.. currently considering a Tune from OE.. they aren’t far from me and I wouldn’t mind unlocking some more power from my beast as is.. any experiences with this tune on this car? Is it reliable and worth it? I have already contacted them for preliminary questions and their customer service is on point! Looking forward to sharing the passion of these beautiful vehicles with you all!!

Lurking on this thread, I'm wondering the same thing. I'm considering the Weistec and OE options.

Happy New year!

I have used OETUNING for 5 tunes so far and they are by far the best to deal with and know their stuff. I tuned my CLS and It is so powerful that if you try and pass someone going any speed and it upshifts, hold on because the rear will break out from under you. POWER to spare and you will slick out your tires very quickly.

The O.E.Tuning program really woke up my 2013 SL550. Basically the same tune as the CLS550. What isn't talked about much, is that it appears torque management is altered as well. This has the effect of making the transmission work in a more "sporty" manner.
For those of us on the east coast, the tune is also available for 93 octane fuel, not that "emissions" fuel you guys on the left coast have to suffer with. The result is slightly improved number over the dyno results listed in their web site.
It really is the best bang-for the-buck you can possibly do to your Mercedes. Or any other late model car for which there is a tune available.
