Exclamation Complete Electrical Systems Failure after service work...sound familiar?

Hey guys, I recently had to fix the shifter mechanism on my 03 CL500, and as I was reinstalling the console/wiring etc....I see the gauge cluster start to read "defective display bring to workshop", also SRS light on dash and fault message appeared, and ESP fault appeared on cluster. My windows, seats, pretty much all electronic functions stopped working, the head lights will stay on with the knob in the "off" position. The RPM gauge and just about all other functions on the gauge cluster works, except for the fuel. When you start the car it goes up to actual reading, then down to E. I've seen a couple posts/youtube videos about this issue, but no real answers, and the fuel acting like that was a common theme too.

I'm trying to diag this to the best of my ability and help from you all before I have to drop my shorts to get it figured out.

I've checked all fuses (well just about all...I cant access theones under the rear pass seat because the seat is all the way back and I have no room). I'm thinking it is a short of some sort..

Assuming it's a short...how would I go about figuring out what is shorting out?

One little event/issue is causing all this havoc...Please help me
