Beige Centre Console - where to buy

Hi, First time post, so please be gentle!
I've searched the forum, but need advice on the best source of a replacement console lid for a c209.365. I got an unhelpful 'can't help you' from one place that sells 'bits', so I was hoping for a little more assistance from all of you? I've hear it could cost $800 new, but really have no idea...

...and advice, suggestions, recommendations etc would really be most welcome. thank you!

I have been in the same spot looking for interior bits and pieces, and I was able to find some auto recyclers on Ebay that had complete cars to part out.
You may have to search around, but there are some good sellers that can help.

Why are you replacing? I ask because there are some vendors that offer paint or dye, if it's just to improve cosmetics.

Just a thought.

Welcome!

Many thanks - a helpful response! I'll keep looking round. I have to get a new one - mine is cosmetically perfect, but the 'open-each-side' mechanism is jammed.

Anytime Charlie! I don't know how to, or if it's allowed, but there is/was an auction on Ebay with a guy who is parting out 9 (nine!) CLK's! I'm sure you can find the auction with a simple search, but that might be a good starting point. He did not have one item I was looking for, but he was responsive to questions.

Best,

blackduc1

Check the forum, there is a method to un-jam it.

Thanks - I've tried the method, but this one is REALLY jammed - only option is to take it apart, but I can't do that without destroying it!
