I will guess that the chart is OK for both 987 & 988, but I cannot find what the the precise difference is. According to my WIS,

113.987 is used on 209.376, CLK55AMG coupe. 209.436, CLK55AMG cabriolet.

113.988 is used on 203.076, C55AMG coupe. 203.276. C55AMG cabriolet.
plus 209.376, CLK55AMG coupe. 209.436, CLK55AMG cabriolet.

Thanks , mine is a 209.376,,, I just wondered why the wis chart split them between 203 and 209,,,I doubt that there is any difference.

Thanks much for reaching out. I've only had opportunity to put 20 miles after the fix but so far so good.
