Ok soooo I had locksmith make me a new mercedes key it worked perfectly
next day it didnt work at all later in day it would work if you pointed it directly at the door sensor on the handle within a foot
next day doeesnt work at all
the locksmith says my RF? is bad
however today it worked fine from yards away around 8 am then by 1pm did not work but hey at 4:30 pm today it worked. batteries are new and little light does blink on key

He made a female fob!! Did not know a locksmith could program a fob. How did he do that. Thought only Mercedes could do that and you would have to give them your left testicle before they would do it! All kidding aside, does your other fob work OK. If so, then I would suspect some issue in the new fob.
