1998 CLK 320 Lighting issue

Firstly, as a newbie on the site I'd just like to say Hi to everyone.

And now thats done I can start to lay my troubles on you all LOL

I recently noticed that the inner right side (drivers side) front lamp was not working so obviously assumed that the bulb had died. However I replaced the bulbs (both sides) but the same light did still not illuminate. Working by process of elimination I then looked at the lighting fuse (interior box at end of dash) but they all seem okay. Therefore I was wondering if you lovely people know if there is an in-line fuse anywhere on that circuit that I should be looking for ?
I have already had to take the big stick to the reversing lights to get them to work LOL

Hi Kev, welcome to the forum.

I would imagine your problem is caused by a bulb rather than a fuse.

If I get a chance I'll look at my car, but I'll have to wait until it starts to go dark.

There are, if I remember correctly, two bulbs fitted to the inner main beam lights. One is a small side light type and the other is the main beam headlight.

When I've had bulbs go, I've cycled through the lights a couple of times to figure out which one it is. It can help to remove them, but leave them hooked-up.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers Steve.
