Convertible Top Replacement

Hello Everyone!
I have a 2000 CLK320 with a damaged soft top. I have found very good deals on new ones but cannot find a video on the correct replacement steps. I believe I know how but just wanted to check first.
If anyone can point me to a video with the complete installation process it would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

I did not replace it. I removed all of the tape and used Convertible top cleaner/Black. That did an outstanding job on renewing the black, and removing the discoloration of the tape that the former owner used.

I did the following until I get a new top: After a total cleaning, I made sure that the rip was fully filled with waterproof material so it would look even with the rest of the top. And then I used Flex Seal black spray over 1 piece of black gorilla tape that covered the 20" rip. It actually looks pretty good! I will replace the top eventually, but I really want to get it painted first

Could you possibly show a pic of the result? My old SL's soft top could use some refreshing

Sorry it took so long to reply. I attached some photos of the repair. After using one strip of gorilla tape, then spraying with flex seal it is definitely livable to me! I also bought some convertible top cleaner and dye to blend it in.
