Does MCS2 have a security code?

I have a 05 CLK320 with Command NTG2 / MCS2 I tried to update navi and the cd got stock half way in the DVD player. I want to take the radio out and free the CD.
I have all documentation on the car Manual+++ I did not find a radio code anywhere.
Can I take the radio out test it on the bench without locking it?
thanks
Paul

In the vehicles I am familiar with, COMAND units (including NTG 2) did not have security codes until the 2006 European (2007 North American) model year; but to be sure, check with your dealership.
