    Thank you for the ecu pin outlay. That gives me an indication and route to do some tests.
    I am struggling for days now to get the car started. I connected the fuel pump direct and there is fuel on the fuel distributor. When I depress the plate in the air flow sensor with the pump giving pressure it pumps fuel out of the injector pipe and giving more the more you depress the plate. If I connect an injector to the pipe and do the same the injector spray quite strong. However when I run the starter it delivers no fuel at the injector. If I depress the plate for a few moments it sprays fuel and at attempting to start it would start on the fuel that was deposited manually and immediately dies because there is no fuel from the injectors. The adjustment to the plate is way out (I suppose)because the previous guys turned the Allan key screw to all sides and I don't have the faintest clue as to where it should be. Fire is alright, as soon as the fuel is there it starts.

    Do you have an data-card (paper with the chassis-nr. engine nr., gearbox nr., paint 7 option codes, etc.) of your L 406 D?

    Do you know if A 309 320 31 06 is used on any other van?

    Or where I could find used ones?

    Do you also know where on the spring set I will find the part number as this has to be visible to get the springs approved?

    Do not adjust little touch on the AFP!

    I'll tell you easiest way:
    Connect "-" of multimeter to a body (-) and connect "+" of the multimeter to the pin #2 of the AFP. Start the engine. And easy move AFP until you'll get 0.8 V on your multimeter.

    I'm from Spain, so my english is not very good, sorry.

    I've seen this post: http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w201-190-class/1677749-190e-1-8-idle-issue-potentiometer.html where you explain that the little screw in the air flow potentiometer must be only adjusted together with the control of the current (mA) on EHA.
    I've changed my pot time ago, but have some hesitation at midrange rpm, and I think that maybe is due to a misadjusted pot.
    ¿Do you know where I can find information about what readings I should have for the EHA, to adjust the pot properly?

    I would recommend You use the motor with an aluminium engine block for swap, i.e. 3.8, 4.2 (116.96), 5.0, 5.6 (117.96) engines from 107/126.
    The WDB10702422025612 has engine with 160 kW (approx. 215 HP).
    The WDB10702422021553 has not found in the data-base. Probably too old.

    I am reading within benzworld for years
    I got a very nice W123 280CE and and planing a V8 Swap.
    I got 2 engines here. M117.985 4500cc
    Here in Thailand we got very little to no support when it comes to tech info or parts.
    My problem right now is to figure out where the engines came from and how much hp they got.
    I am aware about the differences between Euro and US Models ( 160 -225 hp) and looking for a euro spec engine.
    Is there anyone who may check a few numbers for me ?

    my donor options are
    WDB10702422025612 engine no. 117985 22 039342
    WDB10702422021553 engine no. ????
    both are K-jets

    model year and hp thats what I need.

    EPC - electronic parts catalog. The electronic data-base of all details for MB's post-war models and it contains the data-cards for all models made from 1980.

    Hey you had commented on my vin decode... the vin was WDB12312312146101 and you said it was a find in EPC??? what is EPC im assuming it is an electrical power control... for windows and seats?

    Unfortunately, there no any way, to define odometer is not tampering.

    Hello Doctor,

    I felt reassured when you shown that the structure could indicate that the steering wheel left or right, and this encouraged me a lot to buy this car, but it remains something else I ask you to help me:

    How do I know that the odometer is not tampering?

    This car I want to buy a number structure (WDB1260391A580667) cut (51000) km away?! Is this sensible?

    Es scheint, Sie besitzen einen Benz w100.
    Da ich an ein Registery arbeite, wuerde ich gerne einige Bilder bekommen und die Fahrgestellnummer. Bis jetzt habe ich ca 1350 Fahrgestellnummern gesammelt und davon 950 mit mindestens ein Bild identificiert.
