Yup. It's a bit too aggressive, IMAO, and tends to warn when there's not going to ba a problem, but it's not too obnoxious, so I leave it on.
Also does it apply the brakes if the driver does not act quickly enough? That is what I would think active braking means
Me too, but since mine doesn't have it, I don't know.
As for Distronic, I think I'd agree with the salesman I spoke to: I'd wind up turning it off. It seems when you're out on the highway cruising a few hundred yards behind someone else, and that someone else slows down, Distronic will slow down as well even though it's not needed.
"Engineered like no other car in the world." That's both a bug and a feature.
