I know it can be frustrating restoring older car, but look at it from this angle:
-you probably paid less than 10% of actual car price
-car is still good base with some things that might wear out with age/miles
-you put another 10% of car price into new parts, get some elbow grease, enjoy good time with your car and you will have excelent drive for less than 20% of new replacement.
You might meet the members who can wrap such deal for less than 10%.
