1972 280SE 4.5 W108 S-class and a 1978 450SEL W116 S-class. 300SD turbo W126 not shown because it's not considered a vintage under the terms of this forum. My W108 picture taken when I picked it up at David Morris Fine Cars, a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Edmonton, Canada, where I bought it for just $2,000 Canadian.

4.5 is not current and that image is before it's repaint.

Mercedes will never regain the elegance and distinctiveness that the 108 and 111 engendered. Beautiful examples of an era all but lost.

My 1969 280 SE. By the way, the previous owner repainted the car. It's a Benz metallic red, that he told me was available on the 3.5 V8. I know the pics aren't the greatest, but does anyone know the name of this colour? Thanks.

Here is a picture of my first Benz, a 67 250 Sedan. I am the second owner of the car. It is fuel injected with a wonderful shift on the floor automatic. I'd like to fix it up more, it runs great on a new engine. Needs major cosmetics.
