IPHONE Contact List tranfer to GLK

Has anyone successfully added contact list to their GLK? I want to transfer my entire Iphone Contact List into my GLK, it doesn't seem to be possible via bluetooth.

Did you search this forum and other forums like it? iPhones 3 & 4 have a problem. iPhone 4s is not as bad. There are work arounds involving Blackberrys, Androids and something called v-cards on a Mac. Search!

Yes but not via BlueTooth on the iPhone.

You'll have to work-around it like Wayne mentioned: Android (BT), Flash card, BB (BT), or use a Mac(BT).

I was able to this on my 2010 E-class, but was told it cannot be done on my 2011 GLK.

That is a bit extreme. It depends on the model iPhone in question and whether you consider instant transfer via Bluetooth (as the BlackBerry & Android phones can do) the only option.
According to recent reports here and elsewhere on the internet, the latest version of the iPhone can load contacts directly via Bluetooth.
Earlier iPhones require one of several workaround options.

All of the above has been reported numerous times here & elsewhere including Post #2 above.

Contacts via MacBook Pro Bluetooth??

Is there anyone out there who can PLEASE give detailed instructions on how to transfer the iPhone contacts via Mac Book Pro Bluetooth?
I have been able to pair the GLK Bluetooth with my Mac Book, but it pairs as an "audio device", and will not send files. I have the 6 disc, big screen Command.
Also, I went into MacBook settings, and enabled file sharing, Bluetooth sharing and everything else I could think of, but still nothing.
Otherwise, I guess I am now forced try the SD card in the PCMCIA card reader.

For those that are going the SD Card route, see this YouTube link posted by a MB Sales rep.

As I just found out, the PCMCIA card readers are picky about the type of SD cards they support.
I tried using a CompUSA reader with a PNY 8GB SDHC and it was an epic fail, as it dosen't support SDHC.
Just ordered a SanDisk 6 in 1 reader to use with a lowly 512MB SD card I had.
Hopefully this solves this problem.

There you go. Second epic fail averted.
Tell me about your trailer hitch. Were the add on pieces (tow bar, pin, electrical connection) supplied by M-B or your dealer? As you may recall, my GLK was built 2 months earlier. I got the shaft. changer replaced by single disc player and NO trailer hitch accessories. Just curious about your hitch so I can continue my complaining to MBUSA.

SanDisk PCMCIA card setup worked!!
Contacts are in and loaded finally!!!
Now a question to the people in the know, when we need to update contacts, how do you delete the contacts that are there, so I can re upload the new?
Other than a complete system reset, I can't find a way to do this. And the instructions on P116 of the online manual is wrong.
