How do you reset the maintenance indicator?

I just came up on 10K and was about to do the oil change myself when I received a coupon for oil change and 26 point check for $99. I had the service done Saturday and the service advisor said they could not reset the maintenance indicator because they did not do the 10K service (which is $275). Does anyone know how to go about resetting the service indicator? Is this something I can do? (I own my truck not leased).

Here you go.... but if you are not an experienced mechanic... do so at your own risk....

After looking everywhere, all I could find applied to older cars, not to my 2010 350E. I was amazed this worked! Thank you! Oil and filter was $95 vs. $260 for MB - of course I had to buy my own washer fluid!
