Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum. Just got my new 2010 GLK350 two days ago. Did any of you had to install their front license plates? How did you do it? Did you have the dealer install them for you? I'm assuming the dealer installation is free, right? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

I don't know, the dealer should be able to do it (for free). Mine offered to install it but I declined. I don't like how it looks. You have to have one in TX but I'll take my chances.

I agree, I think the front plate takes away from the aggressive facia/presence of the car. I'm in CA, I'm suppose to have two plates too, guess I'm breaking the rule as well.

I also went without - which required signing a waiver (in California) to get the dealer to *not* drill the holes.

Ahhh... those days are over for me.... it's just plastic... I got tired of paying $60 every other week....

Have no choice in Manitoba. It's a Dealer installed no charge option.

No choice in Ontario either. Unless you drive an EVO, your plate has to be front and center. Archaic and unnecessary.

The housing was already in front ready for the plate at the dealership, so there really was no choice. The sales lady put it on prior to delivery.
