Post Cargo Cover

My wife picked up her Capri Blue GLK last weekend. We really are enjoying the vehicle.

I'm having trouble locating a cargo cover. I tried the link in the "Cargo Liner" thread. However, a call to Park revealed that not only did they not have it in stock, but that it may not even be available out of Germany! My local dealer has it "on order" for me but at last check it seems the date of arrival is nebulous at best.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has the cargo cover installed and, if so, where you were able to find it.

Thanks in advance for any help you may able to provide...

Looks like the Park Place Store killed the Cargo Liner link after you called them. I was going to do a search on the part number and see if it showed up somewhere.

You can ask member Underberg where he found the one he talks about on the "Cargo Liner" thread.

Let us know what you find, I also want to get it.

I saw one at either the Washington DC Auto Show last January or at a MB show room in Wiesbaden Germany. It worked nice, and at the time I thought it came with GLK as standard equipment. Now, it looks like it will be a while efore we will see another.

I've been thinking of taking two long sticks and some canvas to make a simple one until the real one shows up. The estimated price tag of over $300 is making me move slow on getting an MB product at this time.

By the way, the GLK they had in the showroom was about 77,000 Euros (close to $100,000).

According to my dealer John Holtz, Rochester, NY...
the cover can be ordered @ the tune of $240.00.

Hmm... Park Place Merc sold me that part in April for $260. At that time they only had two in stock.

Thumbs up

Update: Our salesman was able to order the cargo cover through the parts department of our dealer. I installed it last night. It is well made and really looks good in the rear of the GLK. By the way, the part lists for $360 but thanks to our salesman we were able to get the item for $260 less 10%. Our out the door price was ~$246, including tax. We're happy. By the way, the part shipped directly from Germany to our local dealer.

Thanks to all who provided input.

Regards...

Purchased a MacNeil WeatherTech Cargo liner... I like the fit and finish better and it was only $120.00.
