Buying a high mileage 2015 GL550

Hello my MB fellas,

The time has finally come to buy the GL, so this is another one of those "buying a GL - advice pls!" posts

I found a loaded CPO 2015 GL550 diamond white/designo brown interior with 70K miles on it, which is very high for a ~2yr old car. It is one lease owner, hwy driven by a female dr (according to the dealer). The car is good shape, except a few signs of wear in the 2 front head rests, and very small signs of usage on the driver side seat. The car was serviced at the same MB dealer I am buying the car from, and was certified with new brakes all around and 2 front rotors. Service history looks good, with minimal work done in the past. They were asking $53,325 but dropped the price to $51,900. I am buying additional 2yr CPO for $3500. Is this a good deal? Anything to look for on the car?

Any advice is greatly appreciated?

Fair market Value for a CPO in Seattle is between 48K and 58K depending on condition and additional options like Distronic Plus and such. I would say 51 sounds reasonable based on what you described. I got this from KBB.com. It may be higher or lower, but it looks like a fair deal. Sounds like they are all highway miles anyway.

I dont want to be negative but MBs aren't made like they used to be
do you have any coverage past 2020 ?
Planned obsolescence is a true beast.
and off a lease, the woman might have abused this car.

I'm betting she had to pay for the high miles on her lease turn in as well.
