tire/wheel package, and wheel locks

Just purchased a 2014 E-class with the AMG sport rims 18". I said no to the wheel and tire package, it was just too much for me to add on to what was already a stretch of a purchase. I have hit plenty of potholes in Massachusetts even with my little Mazda with 19" rims, and knock on wood, no bent wheels.

However, curious to know if anyone around here knows whether it's like CPO where you may be able to get a wheel and tire warranty elsewhere, or at another dealership for cheaper?

Also...does anyone have wheel locks for their benz wheels? We have this on our 2009 Odyssey and it's a nice feature. It should just be a matter of replacing four lugs with locking lugs and then the key, so easy enough install.

Current: 2014 E350 4Matic sport sedan, 50K miles, black/black; P01 Premium Pkg/Keyless-Go/Power Trunklid/pano roof/heated steering wheel/lighting package/driver assist. Purchased 1/2/17; Delivered 1/4/17.

Sold but not forgotten: 2002 E320 4matic sedan, black on beige ("sport" package - bird's eye maple trim, 17" sport rims), 108K miles upon sale.

RIP: 2000 E430 4Matic fully loaded - totaled 12/9/2006

Keep the tire pressure high @ 44 psi, will keep the wheel from bending when going over pothole.....

Get the Mcgard wheel lock, if you need it.....

Horsepower: enough power to go from point A to point B
Torque: enough to get the car moving

0-60 mph: not in a rush
0-1/4 mile: about 5 minutes @ 2mph because no need to showoff

My favorite topic, What kind of watch do you guys wear with your Benz...??
