Sprinter 318 chipping
Hi as the proud owner of a magnificant 318 that is now just out of warranty i have been wondering about fitting a chip kit.
They all seem to claim more BHP and better fuel economy but if they are that good why isn't something similar fitted from new at the factory?
has any one had any experience of these units and if so are they worth the money?
I would hate to throw away £300-400 for no gains and worst still maybe damage my vans engine in the process.

I remapped one of these for a Guy i worked with. His was the 318cdi with 185bhp. After remapping it was at 215bhp and an additional 60nm of torque!
He was getting around 24mpg and now gets near 30! He's a steady driver, cruises at 75 on good roads and very easy on it around town! I remapped it when it was 2 months old, that was 2008 and its never had any problems, and has been back to the dealers for all its services without anything said..
Contact me if your interested in having this done, Im mobile!
