Hi Everyone,

Sorry, Post Title should read "Problem With ASR on 2006 Sprinter?

One of my Sprinter delivery vans (2006) has a new issue--While driving with the engine turning between 2100 and 2400 rpm ~60-65 mph the engine will lose power when steering to the right only and under light to medium accelleration. It does not go into limp mode (I have experienced this on both vans already) but just momentarily feels like I have lifted my right foot slightly. This is similar to when the rear axle slips on take-off and ASR is activated, but this is not what is happening at highway speeds. I'm going to switch it off and check it out that way, but in the mean time, has anyone else experienced this? I'll follow-up after the test ride.

Hi Again,

No change in behavior on test ride. ASR automatically switches off at about 35 mph, so no conclusions can be made. It is definitely to the right only, though.
