I have a 903 312D year 2000 Sprinter selectable 4X4. The front diff and prop shaft are engaged while in 2WD (but disengaged at the transfer box). Therefore the front wheels are driving the front axles, diff and propshaft giving poor fuel consumption (5km per litre) and the steering is heavy. Were these van fitted with front free wheeling hubs? Alternatively are free wheel hubs available to purchase?
Are workshop and/or owners manuals available for this model?
