1997 Sprinter Seat Swap

Hello to all
Newbie here I'm afraid,asking the stupid questions!

I have a 1997 Sprinter 208D(So the early model)
I need to fit a three point seat belt to the inside passenger seat to replace the lap belt.

I've found a firm to retro fit in London for £280 or I can go the dealer route at £400!

But ...Is it possible to change the bench over with a bench from a newer Sprinter? (with an existing three point belt).
Would it be a like for like swap?

if the new ones use the same one bolt fixing to the top of frame ( door side half way along under side of cushion 13mm head) it should work but i would look to see what extra reinforced to take the strain was done to the later ones
the box in the bottom pic looks bigger than the one you will have if its like mine with a frame extending it over to the centre dont know what the newer ones have though
