Sprinter 4x4 MPG

Alright lads,

What sort of MPG does a 4x4 varient Sprinter see? What are they like to drive on the road? I guess they use more fuel than a standard version.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. Is the 4x4 varient a slog to drive on long runs? Or is would you say it's pretty similar to the 2wd? Can it cruise ok at 80 ish?

Thanks

4 x 4 sprinter

having had 2 iveco daily 4x4s previously which were good off road but a pig on the road, I say the Sprinter is a pleasure to drive.

It Drives as good as a 2 wheel drive model, but is a little bouncier, and at speeds in excess of 80 mph it wants to go in a straight line.

My Sprinter is the selectable 4wd with diff lock, with a 5 cyl 2.7 l Engine which I have remapped to around 195 bhp. The torque is massive ,I also fitted cruise to help with economy. Avoid the 311 or remap it as the 313 is better for torque and economy.

Wow! If I didn't want one before, I do now.

Selectable 4wd sounds sensible. So it's 2wd most the time? 195Hp? Strewth! What year is this model?
