I recently purchased a 2000 (1999 model) short wheel base sprinter 4X4 - model 903 312D. Ex ambulance
It was suffering from bad work, vacuum lines and wiring missing or cut. I have repaired the damage and it is now running well. A dyno test showed it is now operating within specifications - 89.4 kw (specie 90kw) and turbo boost 0.7.
The van has very little power above 100 km/hour (difficult passing other vehicles) and fuel consumption of 7.5km/litre. Top speed would be about 120 km/hour.
Is this normal?
The 2 wheel drive models are much faster and fuel consumption is 10km/L.
I am interested in purchasing an owners manual and workshop manual for my sprinter in hard copy or CD.
I would appreciate any comments or assistance.
