Well, i'm Max From france.
I have a verry old sprinter 208D, slow as fcuk! But has a quite impressive reliability so far.
There's several probs, but two i'd like to adress soon.
There's the back lock which works with the key, but doesn't stay locked, and this is quite bad for my tools. Before i buy a new one, i wanted to ask, does the number 44 piece of metal labelled clamp has to do anything with the holding of the locked position on the oposite door? On the picture in the link below.

Basicaly The round part at the end of the two padle levers goes twowards teh bottom on this pic, but doesn't stay there. Any idea on how to solve this?
And the other isue is i've never had a odometer backlight, bought it dead cheap for this very reason. How do i remove the instrument cluster, so i can access this to see if i can solve this? I've tried once before, but there must be some hiden screws that i couldn't find. Some help would be welcome on this one, and if somebody had the same problem before, even better
