Sprinter 311 stolen but how ? ?

Hello to everyone, this is my first post and i hope someone may be able to offer any form of advice regarding the loss of my vehicle, along with every tool i owned.

Im not asking WHO stole it, but rather HOW they stole it.

With consideration given to the following facts.......

1) Captured fully on CCTV it took '3 minutes' for the thieves to drive it away.

2) It was taken from a hotel car park (not from work/home address) on the 3rd week of a scheduled 4 week work project. I work all over the country

3) I still have all the original keys and have never let anyone else use them.

I cant think of anything else to add but i'll repond to any questions. I'd be really grateful of any realistic suggestions, as all i am being told by auto locksmiths is that the thieves MUST have had a key !

Has anyone been in this position ? I am baffled.

I have a 313 CDI Sprinter and would prefer that anyone answering your request sends you a personal email rather than publishing it here as the answer could mean that someone passes onto some low life how to steal these vehicles.

Sorry to hear about your loss, insurance will cover the van/mobile home but not all the little things in the vehicle that we have added.

Hi,

Thank you for your contact it is appreciated, but as my van went almost a year ago now, how to steal them in minutes is common knowledge by now.

Hence anyone else who owns a Sprinter had better step up their security. I have also been made aware of the breath-taking amount that are being stolen per month. There are many reasons why Mercedes vans are/were so good, but there are as many reasons why they are unforgiveably naff.
