I just bought a new 2008 Sprinter 315, fitted with auto box. Nice van.
Only issue I have with it is 100km/h (62mph) runs at about 2500 RPM. Does this seem high to anybody? I would have expected about 2000 RPM at this speed in 5th. It great around town, but it could be noisy on the 70mph motorway.
Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this? Should I look at final drive ratio and if so, how do I find out which one I have?

Yes, the RPM you're citing at 62 mph does seem high to many owner/operators/drivers. It is, however, normal.
On 2007 and 2008 Sprinters your rear axel ratio is on the right side of the rear axel tube (right side facing forward). Mine was unreadable until I scraped some cosmoline (or similar) substance from the face of the label.
