Please advise...
Sprinter 311 had high pressure fuel pump changed last week as it was leaking when starting the van. Just noticed there's a thread regarding this pump and a there's a cheaper fix! Previously, before the pump was fixed the van would start eventually but would take a while and would leak diesel.
1 week later.....
Picked up the van from the garage and it started 1st time
2 days later...
starting the van 1st thing on a morning is fine and it starts 1st time, after that it 's 50/50, but if it doesn't start then it won't! I have left it for a while and gone back and guess what? Yes it starts 1st time! Is this a symptom of the fuel injectors leaking ( more expense!) or could it be something else?
