Service display reset???

I just did an oil and filter change on my 2007 sprinter 315cdi and I need to reset the service interval display. Ive heard that this requires a visit to a mercedes outlet. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi Tom,

You could with the old cdi, so I assume you can with the new one, but sorry I cannot remember how you do it !

on another point I see you are in Ireland don't you get free servicing over there ? we get free servicing up to five years over here (England)

Try this no harm if it dos'nt. Press left side button on dash twice. Turn ignition off and then hold the button in and turn ignition on and hold button for 10 secs. Insp light should flash and then reset the milage to around 5-6 thousnad. If not might be diagnostic equipment will check autodata 2morrow and let yhou know.
