I am trying to remove the glow plugs in my '05 Dodge Sprinter. After spraying the front 2 plug wells with WD 40 to try & loosen the threads I was fooled into thing I had unscrewed the glow plug. Wrong. I had just turned the inside stem. then thinking all I needed to do was wiggle the said loose plug, I pulled the centre core out of it. Opps. Now what? Drill it out? I have about 2 threads left sticking out of the head. Any one else had this problem?
Thanks but I tried the good easiout & it broke. I used a carbide tip bit to drill the easiout. Not finished that yet. Then I have a reverse drill bit I am going to try.
